The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight time-bound and qualified goals that respond to the world's main development challenges. In Lesotho, as in most countries, progress towards achieving the MDGs by 2015 is mixed.  Learn more here.

 

 

  Delivering as One

Lesotho is one of 16 countries in the world to Deliver as One UN.  The global initiative, launched in 2007, works to capitalize on the strengths and comparative advantages of UN Agencies, through more coherent programmes that are aligned to national development priorities, with increased government ownership and reduced transaction costs.  The UN Reform is based on Five Pillars: One Programme, One Budget, One Leader, One Office, and One Voice.
